To create a credit note in ERPAG, the sales order must be invoiced. Once you generate an invoice, the button for the credit note will appear. It doesn't matter whether the document is unpaid or it's partly paid. However, if the invoice is paid in total, you won't be able to create a credit note.
Once you click on the 'credit note' button, you will get a window where you can enter the amount of the credit note, or the amount with tax included (in this case, the amount and tax will be automatically calculated).
The amount of the created credit note will appear in the upper part of your sales order, along with the date of the creation and unpaid amount.
Note that the created credit note won't appear on the invoice printout. When you print out the invoice, it will still show the full amount.
The list of issued credit notes is located under Sales > Credit notes
In this list you will see:
Invoice number
Date and time of created credit note
Customer
City
Sales order number
Date and time of created sales order
Amount of the credit note
Warehouse
You also have the ability to add tag and owner to this list. You can filter and group these columns in order to create custom reports.
By checking the boxes in front of the wanted credit notes, you can print, save to G-drive, email and download selected documents in a bulk.
In order to make the credit note visible on your invoices, go to:
Administration > Document templates
Open your invoice template and turn on the 'add credit note' option:
