Inventory > Products and services

Choose the wanted item from the list and open it. In the ‘product category’ section, you will see ‘search scope’ field. There, you can choose from the drop-down menu in which searches the particular item will appear by just checking /unchecking the boxes in front of the listed document.

Save the changes and the searches will be adjusted.

Where used

If you want to see a report that will reflect where in production a particular item is used, you can do that by going to:

Inventory > Products and services

Choose the wanted item from the list and open it. On the right-hand side you will see a ‘reports’ button and when you click on it, you will have a ‘where used’ option offered on the drop-down menu.

This will open a report that will show you in which final products that item appears and the quantity necessary for production.

Once you have at least one inactive product, the 'show / hide -inactive' button will appear on your products and services list.

By using this option, you can choose whether the inactive product will be shown on your products and services list. The inactive products will me marked gray on the list.

You can easily change these status to 'active' again, by using the 'set active' option within the product.
