# Document/Product number setup

To set up the document number pattern, or product number pattern, go to Administration > Document number setup:

Click on "edit" button on the right side to enable the changes.

Here, you can change the prefix, suffix, next number. And also change whether the system will automatically generate the document number, or you would rather keep it as manual entry!

In this same window, you can set up the SKU pattern for various product types:

The newest addition to document number setup, is setting up the document number per warehouse!

Once you are finished and happy with the changes, click on the "save" button on the right side, to complete the process.
